About Captain Nick
Nick comes from a very traditional seafaring family. His father spent most of his adult life at sea and his grandfather on his mothers’ side was a traditional sailing ship Master. Brought up in the small fishing village of Ardglass Nick stepped onto his first command at the tender age 11 when, and much against his Fathers’ wishes he purchased a 10 foot rowing boat. This was the start of a long and fascinating career at sea. Ending with 2 years in command of the largest Liner ever to be built.

Since his retirement Captain Nick has been able to refine and expand on his topics for After Dinner Speaking and Power Point Presentations.
Generally his talks can be tailored to any particular group but all tend to give a light hearted look at his 45 years at sea and in command of some of the finest and most famous Cruise Liners in the world.
